About the Author
Gay Gottlieb was born in Gloucestershire and spent her formative years in the country. She went to school in England and Switzerland and lived in Paris for some years. Gay Gottlieb has always been very keen on animals. from childhood she has had ponies and horses and competed successfully at showing and jumping from the age of eight.

It
is with great sadness that we have to report the untimely death of Gay
Gottlieb. She died, after a short illness, on Tuesday 27th October 2009.
Her family will carry on managing this website and will continue to
promote and sell her book.
This
prefix has always aspired and continues to produce high achievers in the field and in the ring,
proving that the Hungarian Vizsla can shine in conformation and working
ability. The Russetmantles are truly dual-purpose.
In 2008 Gay Gottlieb was honoured to receive the prestigious 'Lifetime Achievement Award' presented by the Hungarian Vizsla Society. She wishes to thank all those who promoted this nomination. To find out more about the award please click here
